Tractor, the Giraffe Walks Past way

Tractor from the archive, made the way Giraffe Walks Past was made. SAM 2.1 traced the tractor in every frame. The rig is the chosen Quick, Draw! doodle itself (quickdraw:4702418350637056): its own lines, bent at a few joints, so every frame is the same drawing. 6 keys were placed by eye over the silhouettes; in-betweens follow the silhouette frame by frame. Scenery is real Quick, Draw! doodles on depth planes that slide with the measured camera; the silhouette is painted as a cel.

Review

Round 1 · bar_metNamed “tractor”; motion smooth. The rectangle body, large round rear wheel, small front wheel and stack strokes match the doodle. At frame 7 the body tilts and the rear wheel overlaps the body more than in the doodle.
Round 2 · bar_metNamed “a farm tractor seen from the side: a box body with an exhaust stack at the front, a small front wheel and a large round rear wheel”; motion broken. The construction matches the doodle (rectangle body, hooked exhaust stack with a V mark, small front wheel blob, large rear wheel loop with the curved seat line), but the rear wheel loop changes shape noticeably from frame to frame and becomes a stretched, angular polygon in frame 16.
