Roller-coaster, the Giraffe Walks Past way

Roller-coaster from the archive, made the way Giraffe Walks Past was made. SAM 2.1 traced the roller-coaster in every frame. The rig is the chosen Quick, Draw! doodle itself (quickdraw:5572615668236288): its own lines, bent at a few joints, so every frame is the same drawing. 14 keys were placed by eye over the silhouettes; in-betweens follow the silhouette frame by frame. Scenery is real Quick, Draw! doodles on depth planes that slide with the measured camera; the silhouette is painted as a cel.

Round 1 · bar_metNamed “a roller coaster lift hill: a hatched track climbing to a peak with the drop going down to the right”; motion broken. The animated track is much steeper and narrower than the doodle, which has a gentle curved climb, and the two right-hand drop lines are shallower and longer in the animation than the steep drop lines in the doodle. The double-line track with short slanted cross ticks and the separate drop lines match the doodle's construction.
Round 2 · bar_metNamed “a roller coaster lift hill: a double-rail track with cross-tie hatch marks rising to a peak, with two support lines sloping down to the right”; motion smooth. The animated track has the doodle's double rail, short slanted hatch ties and two descending lines, but it is much steeper and narrower than the doodle's shallow bent climb for most of the shot.
