Pig, the Giraffe Walks Past way

Pig from the archive, made the way Giraffe Walks Past was made. SAM 2.1 traced the pig in every frame. The rig is the chosen Quick, Draw! doodle itself (quickdraw:5298401904164864): its own lines, bent at a few joints, so every frame is the same drawing. 8 keys were placed by eye over the silhouettes; in-betweens follow the silhouette frame by frame. Scenery is real Quick, Draw! doodles on depth planes that slide with the measured camera; the silhouette is painted as a cel.

Round 1 · bar_metNamed “pig”; motion broken. The body, zigzag ear, spiral snout and stick legs match the doodle closely. In frames 6 to 8 the ear zigzag flattens and the front legs are redrawn in different positions.
Round 2 · bar_metNamed “a pig seen from the side, with a spiral snout, two pointed ears, a round body and short stick legs”; motion broken. The drawing keeps the doodle's spiral snout, zigzag ears, open body outline and split leg strokes, but in frames 11-16 the body is rotated and swollen so the outline proportions drift from the doodle.
Round 3 · bar_not_metNamed “a pig seen from the side, facing left, with a spiral snout, two pointed ears, a round body and four stick legs”; motion broken. Frames 1 to 12 match the doodle's zigzag ears, square spiral snout and stick legs, but from frame 14 on the back ear is replaced by a tall straight vertical line and the head outline swells, so the drawing no longer reads as the same pig.
Round 4 · bar_metNamed “a pig seen from the side, with a spiral snout, two pointed ears, a round body and short stick legs”; motion broken. Frames 1-6 match the doodle closely, but from frame 13 on the ears tip over into a sideways zigzag, the back of the head becomes one long diagonal line, and the front legs separate from the body, so the late frames drift away from the doodle's construction.
