Mosquito, the Giraffe Walks Past way

Mosquito from the archive, made the way Giraffe Walks Past was made. SAM 2.1 traced the mosquito in every frame. The rig is the chosen Quick, Draw! doodle itself (quickdraw:6165377341980672): its own lines, bent at a few joints, so every frame is the same drawing. 6 keys were placed by eye over the silhouettes; in-betweens follow the silhouette frame by frame. Scenery is real Quick, Draw! doodles on depth planes that slide with the measured camera; the silhouette is painted as a cel.

Round 1 · bar_metNamed “mosquito”; motion smooth. The flat body, upright wing, round head, antenna and long hooked proboscis match the doodle. The drawing is very small, so the stroke detail is hard to see.
Round 2 · bar_metNamed “a mosquito (insect with an upright wing, thin legs, round head and a long curved proboscis) standing on a slope”; motion smooth. The animated character is the c.png drawing mirrored to face left, with the same tall triangular wing, oval head, long curved proboscis and stick legs, only drawn smaller.
