Horse, the Giraffe Walks Past way

Horse from the archive, made the way Giraffe Walks Past was made. SAM 2.1 traced the horse in every frame. The rig is the chosen Quick, Draw! doodle itself (quickdraw:4658862839824384): its own lines, bent at a few joints, so every frame is the same drawing. 12 keys were placed by eye over the silhouettes; in-betweens follow the silhouette frame by frame. Scenery is real Quick, Draw! doodles on depth planes that slide with the measured camera; the silhouette is painted as a cel.

Round 1 · bar_metNamed “horse head and neck”; motion broken. The doodle's two upright pointed ears become one upright ear plus one ear lying sideways like a flag, and a second wavy line runs beside the forehead that the doodle does not have. The zigzag mane, dot eye, curved jaw stroke and throat line do carry over.
Round 2 · bar_metNamed “a horse's head and neck in profile, with a zigzag mane, seen beside a fence”; motion broken. The construction matches the doodle (zigzag mane, pointed ears, scribbled dot eye, open jaw curve, two neck lines), but one ear is drawn as a sideways pointed shape sticking out of the neck line rather than upright as in the doodle.
Round 3 · bar_metNamed “a horse's head and neck, with a jagged mane, two pointed ears, an eye and a jaw line”; motion broken. The animated head uses the doodle's parts (zigzag mane, two leaf-shaped ears, scribbled eye, cheek curve with jaw and throat lines) in the same single-stroke style, but it is mirrored to face right and drawn with a long vertical face instead of the doodle's short wedge-shaped muzzle.
