Fan, the Giraffe Walks Past way

Fan from the archive, made the way Giraffe Walks Past was made. SAM 2.1 traced the fan in every frame. The rig is the chosen Quick, Draw! doodle itself (quickdraw:6120310522773504): its own lines, bent at a few joints, so every frame is the same drawing. 7 keys were placed by eye over the silhouettes; in-betweens follow the silhouette frame by frame. Scenery is real Quick, Draw! doodles on depth planes that slide with the measured camera; the silhouette is painted as a cel.

Round 1 · bar_metNamed “electric desk fan”; motion smooth. The round cage outline, three curved blades, scribbled hub and base with scribble match the doodle. In frame 7 one blade extends past the outer outline, which the doodle never does.
Round 2 · bar_metNamed “an electric desk fan seen from the front: a rounded housing with three curved blades around a scribbled hub, standing on a short hatched base”; motion broken. The animated fan keeps the doodle's lopsided outline, small tick at the top, dense scribbled hub, three curved blade lines and hatched base, so it reads as the same drawing.
