Bicycle, the Giraffe Walks Past way

Bicycle from the archive, made the way Giraffe Walks Past was made. SAM 2.1 traced the bicycle in every frame. The rig is the chosen Quick, Draw! doodle itself (quickdraw:6344657166401536): its own lines, bent at a few joints, so every frame is the same drawing. 11 keys were placed by eye over the silhouettes; in-betweens follow the silhouette frame by frame. Scenery is real Quick, Draw! doodles on depth planes that slide with the measured camera; the silhouette is painted as a cel.

Review

Round 1 · bar_metNamed “a bicycle wheel with spokes, close up, with parts of the bicycle frame entering from the top right”; motion broken. The wheel matches the doodle's wheels: an eight-sided outline with a gap at the top left and a star of straight spokes, and the horizontal and diagonal lines match the doodle's frame tubes. Only one wheel and stubs of the frame are visible, so the rest of the doodle (second wheel, seat, handlebar) never appears, and the extra second diagonal line and the frame-6 bracket are not in the doodle.
Round 2 · bar_metNamed “A bicycle front wheel with spokes, seen close up, with a few straight lines of the bicycle frame at its upper right”; motion broken. The wheel matches the doodle's segmented polygon rim and star of spokes, but only one wheel and two frame lines of the doodle are shown, so the seat, handlebar and second wheel are missing.
Round 3 · bar_not_metNamed “a bicycle wheel with star-shaped spokes, seen close up, with a fork or frame stroke above it”; motion broken. The wheel matches the doodle's wheel (polygon rim with a gap at the top, star spokes), but only that one wheel and a few frame strokes appear, so it reads as a cropped detail of the doodle rather than the whole bicycle drawing in motion.
