THE RECURRING CAST
Who the archive keeps sending back. Every archive film, clip and voice used across the lab's films, counted by the job it does there: seen as a picture, heard answering in its own voice, lending single words to a spoken mosaic, cast as a cut-out character, used as a place, or playing a named character's voice. A source film stands in for "who": no faces are recognised or named.
Use it: the Talk-Back Desk answers a narration with a voice that doubts it, footage left running, and the images these films leave out.
WHAT THE IMAGES DO
Every film asks its pictures for almost the same job: match the words. The picker finds the clip nearest to a spoken line or a named thing, so the same shot becomes whatever the sentence needs. Only WYGWYL asks pictures for an editing operation (hold, split, inset, dissolve, montage).

ONE SHOT, MANY JOBS
The same exact clip, and what each film used it for.
WHAT WE REACH FOR, AND WHAT WE LEAVE
Every embedded archive clip sorted into one set of image types (CLIP, zero-shot), then compared with the pictures the films use. A ratio of 2.0 means a type is used twice as often as the archive holds it.

WHO IS HEARD, AND WHEN
EVERYWHERE
Ranked by how many films a source is seen or heard in (single borrowed words don't count toward the rank), then by how often. Tap a picture to play the clip it is used for most.
ONE VOICE, MANY CHARACTERS
The same archive source speaking for different characters. In the Found Republic each character's lines are spoken through an archive voice. When one source plays two or three of them, the audience hears the same person under different names.

The Republic's synthetic voices repeat the same way: one Kokoro voice reads several characters across the 17 episodes.

THE SAME MOMENT, AGAIN
Exact clips that more than two films reached for.
