Bolas · stage 1 skeleton battery · HTML page
54 motions that push one ball-and-cord skeleton to the end of every joint's range, the way a fitness assessment or a motion library does: neck, shoulders, elbows, trunk, hips, knees and ankles, then screens, exercises, locomotion and everyday tasks. Video → Bolas turns a clip of any person into the same skeleton and measures it with the same report. Video stays in your browser.
Keys are frames where the body holds or reverses (local minima of total joint speed); breakdowns are the fastest frame between two keys.
Ranges are measured from the skeleton's own joints: shoulder elevation is the angle between trunk and upper arm, elbow, hip and knee are flexion from straight, neck is head-over-trunk deviation, trunk is inclination from vertical. Norm marks follow common clinical reference values (shoulder 180°, elbow 150°, hip 120°, knee 135°). Video measurements are 2D, so rotation and depth are not measured.
