Independent critic B — 073 / THE ENTRANCE HAS MOVED — V02 Verdict: bounded VISUAL PASS for an internally recoverable fictional route whose successive maps offer different answers and whose ending refuses to certify delivery. Full native-speed narration, bell/step sound, comprehension and audiovisual acceptance remain INCONCLUSIVE. This is my first independent review; no independent V01 review is claimed. There is no real surveyed district, field recording, child testimony or completed physical delivery verified here. Method I first inspected all six ordered one-second V02 movie sheets before MAP_ROUTE_CAMERA.json or ROUTE_CHECKS.json. I reconstructed the visible route from them, then inspected actual main frames around the cuts24.9/25,37.9/38,51.9/52 and68.9/69, plus43.5,44.5,60.5,62.5,72 and81 seconds. I inspected61.5/63.5 to assess the staircase pause. After the initial reconstruction I read the route/camera records and viewed the complete remembered-map asset to investigate its cropped tower. No builder script or other critic report was read. No audio audition or native real-time playback occurred; no source-map survey truth is implied. Route reconstructed before diagnostics From the actual opening maps I could follow: repair bench at lower left → circular water-tower landmark near center → gate farther right → address above/right. The maintenance view then marked that gate removed and identified an alternative entrance left of the old address. The moving red trace reversed from the old address, past the old gate, to the tower. The shortcut map offered another branch upward from the tower through a fence gap, then stairs and a new entrance. The last map withheld the entrance, and the ending placed a drawn repaired ring/handle beside all five maps. That reconstruction matches the later route record; it was not copied from its node list. Actual changes and anchors 0–3 title says five original maps of an invented district.3–7 shows an archival hand drawing on a map, labeled gesture reference only.7–11 explicitly says THE DISTRICT FROM HERE IS INVENTED, introduces the handle-return task and says each map gives a different answer. This separates the archive from the fictional place. 11–25 delivery sketch: the orange attention point remains near screen center as the paper moves beneath it and the red line grows from the repair bench past the water tower toward the gate. The sketch's old address is farther along an angled branch. At25 the public-sign map takes over with the gate itself centered. The building rectangles and tower provide more orientation than the dot alone. 25–38 public sign: heavier directional arrows point onward from the gate toward DELIVERY ADDRESS. The caption says the sign agrees and the narrator trusts it. The view advances along that branch until the address is centered. This is not a new surveyed fact; it is one fictional artifact's confident answer. 38–52 maintenance plan: the corresponding address is now OLD ADDRESS, the gate is crossed out/GATE REMOVED, and NEW ENTRANCE appears elsewhere. The actual38-second image clearly displays all three relations at once. The route's former certainty is thus contradicted by maintenance information rather than just a new color style. At43.5 a yellow ring/pulse appears well left of the centered old-address mark. At44.5 the caption acknowledges the left bell and wrong entrance; the red trace visibly backs down the prior branch. The tower is centered again by52. The original sound direction was not heard, but a visible left-side cue does precede the revision. 52–69 shortcut drawing: the tower remains the cut anchor, then the route takes the FENCE GAP branch upward rather than revisiting the old gate. The caption says 'We take the stairs instead of the old gate', which matches this actual path. A drawn staircase leads diagonally to NEW ENTRANCE. The actual62.5 image shows the attention point on the staircase and seven drawn crossbars/steps, with the red path behind it. The camera pauses around61–64 before progressing.61.5/63.5 images retain the same staircase-centered composition, with small encoded-image differences rather than an obvious route advance. This supplies an observable delay/cost within the drawing; it is not a measurement of real climbing effort. I have not counted audible step cues. 69–79 remembered map: the center is the former entrance location, but its entrance label/path has disappeared. The same nearby pond/building shapes remain, allowing a limited local registration. The orange mark sits in blank space; no final line proves a delivery. At79–86 the five maps become small objects in an overview with a newly drawn repaired handle. The hand-size ring and repair binding are a constructed prop image, not a delivered physical object. The ending says the handle was present and the route was work between maps, rather than showing a recipient or achieved delivery. That unresolved task is explicit. Geometry/record checks and their limits The route ledger assigns gate, old address, tower and new-entrance-location as the four map-cut anchors. Actual paired frames at24.9/25,37.9/38,51.9/52 and68.9/69 keep the orange point at(480,320), confirmed by direct center-pixel inspection; visible surrounding map features change scale/orientation consistently with changed artifacts. This checks selected encoded frames, not every interpolated image. The record uses five original rasters with modest uniform scaling and rotations, and2040 camera entries all declare the same attention point. Its61–64 staircase center remains at the stated stairs node. ROUTE_CHECKS reports valid endpoints and a seven-step pause, which agrees with the inspected picture. These are internal fictional-layout checks, not evidence of geographically correct public signage or a walk recorded in the world. Largest remaining gap and observable repair The69–79 remembered-map view says 'I remembered the tower and left the entrance blank', but the tight camera frame excludes the water tower. I verified that the tower is present lower down in the complete remembered-map asset; it is not visible in the enlarged72-second viewport. Thus the authored map has that remembered anchor, while this ten-second film passage mainly presents blankness and generic surrounding rectangles. Its difference of purpose is stated more than fully shown. An optional strong repair is to widen or briefly pull back during the memory passage so the retained tower and blank entrance location can both be seen before the final tabletop overview. Preserve the entrance's absence. Falsifiable condition: without reading the private map asset, a viewer can point to what memory retained and what it failed to provide in the same displayed map. This is a framing improvement, not a blocking truth error: the current blank entrance and prior anchor still support the deliberately uncertified ending. The final prop is introduced verbally at the beginning but only pictured at the end. If normal-speed viewers forget the practical task, a very brief early drawn-handle view beside the delivery sketch would strengthen it. Do not claim a real recipient or successful delivery without actually showing one. The ending's unresolved status is a strength to preserve, not a missing achievement to fabricate. Purpose and scope The maps do more than restyle a fixed diagram: delivery sketch proposes a route, public sign confidently confirms it, maintenance plan invalidates the gate/address, shortcut drawing supplies an omitted branch with a cost, and remembered map fails to certify the entrance. The backtrack and staircase pause make those differences affect the route. Camera movement/anchors keep the fictional geography recoverable despite changing paper purposes. The actual archive is a mapping gesture reference and not the fictional district. The narrator, maps, prop, bell and steps are newly authored; no historical speaker's memory, real child account or field-recorded cue is implied by the inspected titles. Audio direction, synthetic speech timing and the felt pause remain unassessed by listening. On the bounded visual reconstruction and task-obstacle-withheld-ending scope, V02 passes; broader AV acceptance remains pending.
