FILM 069 V02 — INDEPENDENT CRITIC A, REPAIR REVIEW Bounded verdict: QUALIFIED VISUAL PASS for the cabinet-first correction of an unsupported spatial link. Compelling normal-speed anticipation, score counterpoint and overall audiovisual acceptance remain INCONCLUSIVE. This is not a pass for literal crowd dispersal, which V02 no longer claims. Method: Inspected all five actual main ordered sheets, changed alternate sheets through the first post-gap answer, and independently extracted actual current main33s/39s and alternate37s. Extraction now succeeds. V01's failed container finding is preserved in its report, not silently revised. Original cabinet0–7s had already been inspected at4fps in V01 review; source association is consistent. No native-speed playback or audio audition occurred. Repair and exact events: Opening0–24 and WAIT24–29 remain as previously reviewed. The hand/reel/cabinet/crowd chain offers an imagined mechanism-to-presentation connection, framed as manufactured rather than historical. Its specific emotional urgency remains modest/uncertain in static inspection. 29–35 now returns first to the cabinet. At31–34 the opening panel reveals interior fittings and shelving/control-like panels instead of a passage into the auditorium. Actual33s confirms this is in the present export. Placing the informative native action immediately after the WAIT interruption gives the interruption an identifiable answer. It now does more than pause before a seated crowd and an explanatory title. 35–42.5 restores the unrelated inner mechanism. The actual39s footer explicitly states 'exact function unresolved.' That is supported by the limits of the displayed evidence and avoids an invented accounting operation, initiating lever, or observed machine start. 42.5–52.5 displays the wider projector;52.5–59.5 displays the separate auditorium. Seated people are now explicitly a different record, not a dispersal or reversal of personal behavior. The unrelated audience continuation is not proof of a common purpose. 59.5–64.5 THE LINK WAS OURS is now a conclusion to a demonstrated cabinet correction.64.5–67.5 remains an explicitly editorial hold, not an observed machine stop;67.5–70 credits. Alternate WAIT24–33 and cabinet33–39 preserve the same pictorial correction with four extra seconds. Actual alternate37s extraction succeeds and shows the cabinet interior. Native-speed/audio evidence is needed to select the stronger delay; numerical duration alone does not establish that nine seconds works better than five. Largest remaining gap: The correction is stronger than the initial recruitment of expectation. A viewer might recognize the first aperture as a cabinet already, reducing surprise; the opening mechanism is functionally ambiguous. I can point to the unsupported inference 'the panel opens toward the auditorium and these devices help bring that event about,' and to its visible correction, but cannot certify that unbriefed viewers strongly make that inference at normal speed. The present qualification is therefore substantive, not merely technical. Observable next acceptance condition: In an unbriefed normal-speed comparison, viewers should be able to name what they expect after the four-shot reprise and say how the cabinet's revealed interior changes it before relying on the final explanatory card. Listen separately for whether the composed pulse/residual produces an independent argument, rather than assuming the score event list proves it. No new footage is necessary to preserve the bounded visual pass; these are remaining whole-experience checks. Protect: cabinet-first native reveal, explicit unrelated-source framing, narrowed mechanism label, seated-audience honesty, no disaster, no invented source sound, editorial-hold labeling. Full original hard-proof details (literal lever start, audience dispersal, auditory counterpoint) are not all demonstrated and must not be claimed.
