FILM 067 V03 — INDEPENDENT CRITIC A, FIRST REVIEW OF THIS FILM Verdict: QUALIFIED VISUAL PASS for the caption/image offset, intentional withholding and declared digital-concealment adaptation. Overall audiovisual experience and the full physical-process prompt remain INCONCLUSIVE. I did not review V01 or V02 and make no retrospective acceptance claim. Inspection method and technical boundary: After the parent reported recovery of the final container, I inspected all six ordered one-second sheets of main and all six of synchronized control, before reading OFFSET_RELATION.json. I independently extracted and viewed frames from the current main MP4 at 6,17,24,38,46 and64 seconds and control at24 seconds. Extraction succeeded. Thus current-file picture evidence is present; I did not simply accept old sheets as proof of a readable current MP4. This method does not provide native-speed viewing or audio audition. Speech fidelity, voice intelligibility, sound, exact felt delay and normal-speed pacing remain unauditioned. I cannot certify a viewer-memory outcome from technical timing alone. First-impression relation: Without a mid-film explanatory relation title, the opening curtain image accompanies a cup description; the next image actually supplies the cup while the caption describes a curled ribbon; the following image supplies the ribbon while a small suspended figure is described; that figure arrives last while a boat is described. This is a coherent forward displacement rather than arbitrary mismatching. The control makes the distinction clear by directly describing each current image. The main has materially more anticipation/confirmation work for the viewer; the control offers immediate inspection. This is an observational comparison of the visual construction, not measured learning or a claim that the offset is more affecting at normal speed. Exact sequence and precision: 0–4: new work title identifies copied archive frames, authored descriptions, synthetic voice and simulated covering. 4–22: curtain A. The caption visible at6 describes the white cup, dark rim band and below-wheel hand. 12–20 gradually accumulates pale digital cover;20–22 is opaque. At17 the caption has already cleared, leaving the disappearing image and a description to retain. 22–44: cup B. The actual24s frame shows a light cup on a dark circular wheel, a dark band around its upper part, and a hand beneath. This is a sufficiently distinctive visual answer to the earlier description. White is an image-tone description here, not independently verified object color from the monochrome source. The new caption describes bright curled ribbon over a dark block, diagonally climbing turns and upper-edge cropping. Covering30–42 is longer than the other eight-second covers;42–44 is opaque. At38 the caption is gone, and only a nearly obscured cup remains. The lengthened interval therefore has a visible function independent of persistent text, although its felt burden requires normal-speed viewing. 44–62: curled metal C. At46 the ribbon, dark block, diagonal turns and cropped upper continuation are legible. The new caption describes a small suspended figure, folded knees and a right-edge platform. Cover52–60, opaque60–62. Removing an exact coil count is appropriate: the visible evidence supports the present positional description without forcing ambiguous counting. 62–80: figure D. The small folded shape against a pale field and right-edge dark platform are visible at64. 'Knees' is somewhat less independently legible than cup/ribbon details because the figure is small and blurred; the whole spatial configuration still provides a recognizable answer. The next description is an authored red paper boat under an empty chair, with a wet inward-folded corner. The text expressly says no picture is present. Cover70–78, opaque78–80. 80–86: empty digital work surface. No boat image appears. The final boundary is deliberate and explicitly credited at86–90, not an unreported missing asset. These are new authored words, not recovered testimony or evidence that such a historical boat existed. Main/control judgment: The synchronized24s frame puts the cup description next to the cup. Main24s puts the ribbon description next to that same cup. Together with the repeated subsequent confirmations this establishes the one-step mechanism visually. The longer B concealment and final unfulfilled description are meaningful formal variations. The copied images remain recoverable records; covering is openly simulated, not destruction of an original or filmed material handling. Largest remaining gap and falsifiable repair: The experiment convincingly establishes anticipation, confirmation and a final exception, but I cannot yet establish an experience beyond recognizing that rule. The chosen archive images move through stage, craft, industrial metal and an airborne body; the absent boat introduces a more intimate vulnerability, yet that escalation is tentative. This is not a blocker for the narrowly stated visual relation. It blocks an unqualified claim that the full acceptance tribunal, including accumulated feeling and audiovisual timing, has passed. A discriminating next test is normal-speed main/control viewing by an unbriefed viewer: can they name the cup's rim detail upon its arrival, recognize the extra wait, and explain what the absent boat changes beyond 'the next picture never appears'? If recognition succeeds but the latter answer remains only procedural, revise the authored descriptions toward a shared concrete uncertainty while keeping each incoming-image detail verifiable. Do not add historical personal belief or testimony to produce that connection. Preserve the clean one-step confirmations, caption-free portions of concealment and explicitly description-only final image. Full-prompt limits: These are copied archive stills and digitally composited pale sheets. They are not four newly photographed ordinary objects, physical duplicate prints on a tabletop, preserved paper/hand process sound or a measured actual material duration. The work labels the adaptation honestly. Full physical and audiovisual proof remains pending rather than silently converted into a pass.
