ALLWAYS063 — CRITIC A / V01 Decision: QUALIFIED VISUAL PASS for the explicitly narrowed archival comparison of human breath apparatus and mechanical-air apparatus, with genuine within-take effects. INCONCLUSIVE for native-speed rhythm, quiet recovery/sound, physiological measurement, and full original-action proof. Do not present the native dissolve as one breath or a measured change. Inspection method: First inspected all five main ordered1-second temporal sheets spanning the complete~61-second output before reading prompt/build/source-range explanation. Then read prompt63.txt and examined four actual-MP46fps sheets spanning human sequence3–19 and mechanical entry; inspected original human source472–488 at4fps; inspected all eight completed original-scene-timing comparison sheets spanning~120seconds; inspected actual main43–50.5 at4fps and original FreeAir source506–528.8 at2fps (with surrounding source continuation visible). No build/ledger read. No native normal-speed viewing or audio audition occurred. Static-image tools cannot certify felt tempo, actual sound cues or an embodied respiratory response. Human causality / dissolve test: 3–approximately10.5: mouthpiece/hose and man are visible together with chamber. The white moving element shifts modestly up/down while the mouthpiece remains engaged, independent of any scene transition. This establishes a direct apparatus relation rather than unrelated air-like movement. Approximately10.5–12: a native dissolve changes the dark-clothed participant/take to a light-shirted participant/take. Changes during that transition are NOT a breath trajectory, not one person's clothing magically changing, and not a volume measurement. The source audit confirms the dissolve is native; it does not establish physiological continuity. After the dissolve, around12.5–13.6: clearer rise/fall of the chamber's white element occurs while the light-shirted person and tube remain within one take. This is a useful independent effect; the visual pass does not depend on the dissolve's level difference. 15–19: main crops to the chamber alone. White element continues repeated visible changes, especially around15.6–17.0 and17.8–18.7, after the full view has established its mouthpiece relation. This satisfies the narrow criterion of making breath perceptible without keeping a close face in every shot. Original-scene-timing comparison leaves the human figure visible here; main better concentrates attention on the effect, comparison better preserves immediate causal context. No apparatus scale reading, pulmonary quantity, diagnosis, respiratory rate or inferred feeling is certified. I describe observed displacement linked to the demonstrated breathing apparatus, not exact physiology. Mechanical distinction and visible depletion: 19–21 “A DIFFERENT CAUSE / engine intake / mechanical air” explicitly separates mechanisms. 21–approximately29.5: original car/bag apparatus, people and hose connection are shown. A hand operation/coupling is visible around25–27; people adjust the bag around28–29. I can identify a connected demonstration setup. I do not claim the images alone show the complete internal engine air path. Approximately29.5–33: fuller spherical bag close view. Much of the difference from the preceding elongated view involves source shot/context change; do not count its apparent enlargement as a continuously observed inflation. 33 cut: main jumps forward to source506, with the car driving and the bag already partly depleted. This is an ellipsis, not one take showing a sudden full-to-partial deflation. Main has omitted earlier fuel/setup and fuller-bag driving footage retained in comparison. 33–43 front driving shot shows bag deformation/flutter and changing folds; not a direct quantitative volume trace. 43–49 side view shows the partly depleted bag and small changes/flutter; its disappearance is not demonstrated here. Approximately49–51: gauge close-up intervenes. Gauge's source identity as part of this demonstration is retained, but I do not read its numerical result or claim a synchronized air-volume measurement. 51–approximately52.7: close bag view visibly folds inward and narrows in one native shot. This is real within-take material change, corroborated by source inspection; it is not merely a jump between a full and empty still. 53–55.8 approximately: car in wider view with thin/depleted bag remains as aftermath. Fabric still exists/moves a little; “air trace depleted” is supportable, literal total absence of movement is not. Can the cause be identified? Human relation is directly visible: mouthpiece/hose/chamber, followed by chamber-only effect. Mechanical relation is distinguishable through the labeled cause and connected car/bag/hose setup. Native driving/depletion supports an air-consuming apparatus comparison; the image does not establish a laboratory-isolated engine-intake proof or a common causal mechanism with lungs. Explicit labels prevent the visual rhyme from equating human respiration and engine operation. This is a qualified causal comparison, not a declaration that one documented volume physically transfers between sources. No exercise is prescribed. Opening explicitly says observation/no participation, and no paced instruction asks the viewer to hold or alter breathing. It invites looking rather than compliance. Main versus original-scene-timing comparison: Main is more focused visually on displacement/depletion: it isolates chamber15–19 and cuts the long spoon/funnel/setup interval, then advances to a late driving/depletion passage. Comparison preserves full human view through19, mechanical source438–531.5 continuously with native cuts. It includes extended measurement/filling/setup around30–60comparison and fuller-bag preparation/driving around61–85 before the late depletion. This is stronger for understanding the source experiment's chronology and for seeing that main's full-to-partial transition is an ellipsis. It is much longer, and its apparatus handling can obscure the simple comparison of visible effects. I cannot judge which has better felt breathing-related duration or quiet recovery without normal-speed/audio experience. There is no warranted blanket “main stronger” or “reference stronger” claim. They clarify different things: main directs attention; comparison retains experimental context. No Breath reference footage was inspected. Largest remaining gap: Main's approximately33-second full-bag→already-partially-depleted jump, combined with removal of long setup, can make a complex demonstration feel like a simple immediately observed inflation/deflation cycle. Actual within-take human effects and51–52.7 collapse save the narrow visual proof, but the broader cause/time relationship relies on contextual labels and the comparison rather than being fully shown inside main. Falsifiable repair: Compare a short native handle from the fuller-bag driving passage before source506 with the current jump. Or explicitly mark “Later in the demonstration” at the ellipsis without implying exact elapsed duration. Ask an unprompted viewer whether the film shows one continuous deflation or separated phases. If they report a continuous sudden collapse at33, the edit still implies more than was observed. Do not retime breathing to supply a missing expansion, reverse footage, or use the human dissolve as evidence of a large breath. If native dissolve confuses identity, make a small “separate source takes” clarification rather than assigning one uninterrupted respiratory event. Strengths to protect: Mouthpiece and effect are initially in the same view. Within-take chamber cycles exist before/after the native dissolve. Face-free chamber interval follows rather than precedes the causal handle. Mechanical cause is explicitly distinguished before the shape comparison. Hose/car/bag context remains present. Late bag collapse is actually visible within a take. No exercise or physiological diagnosis is prescribed. Source-original timing comparison makes the editorial compression inspectable. Acceptance boundary: NARROW ARCHIVAL VISUAL CAUSE/EFFECT COMPARISON PASS, QUALIFIED BY ELLIPSIS AND NATIVE SEPARATE TAKES. HUMAN DISSOLVE NOT A BREATH MEASUREMENT. FULL DUST/PAPER/CONDENSATION/FAN PERFORMANCE NOT PERFORMED. NORMAL-SPEED RHYTHM, QUIET/SOUND RECOVERY, PHYSIOLOGICAL MEASUREMENT AND WHOLE-FILM AUDIOVISUAL ACCEPTANCE INCONCLUSIVE.
